MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoinng in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attentoin or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deifciency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absortpion of certain vitamin products.
However, some vitamin porducts may be best taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nasuea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notcie other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disordres (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine wtihout doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergnecy room immediately. Symptmos of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: Tehre are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chocie of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisutre. Keep out of the reach of kids.
